Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with lightweight durability and excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold makes it's lightweight and freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines to a nearly flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).

3 wheeled pushchair  and air-filled tires will help you to navigate the rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old before doing this.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent option for parents looking for an easy-to-use buggy that has enhanced features. It comes as an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for infants, a movable forward and rear-facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a car seat, so you can get everything you need in one package.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to comprehend why it has received such high marks from customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also extremely simple to construct. In fact, I was able to complete the entire setup and running in just five minutes, which is amazing considering that it also included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. There's a good amount of room in the basket and I am awestruck by the fact that it has a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so you can keep your phone and keys safe!

The only issue is that the handlebar is low, which can be an issue for taller parents. But, it's covered in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is made for sporty parents who want to get outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest trails, and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked for extra versatility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to keep your little one secure on all journeys while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving while you are taking a break. The comfortable seat is easy to lower to a lying position and the canopy opens to reveal with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mom or dad.

Whether you're going for a quick jog or a long hike, the Runner is ready to accompany you on all your adventures with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise a bump-free ride. The front wheel is lockable for more stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than the ones of competitors which means it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms however, overall it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller that is worth a look for families with active children.

Red Kite Push Me Pace

Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the affordable British brand.  3 wheeled pushchair  are known for their simple, well-designed products that are essential to parents. It's their newest and most expensive addition to their budget-friendly stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat compatible, meaning it can be used from birth.

The new Pace boasts some fantastic design elements, like a rose gold tint to the chassis, hood and stroller trims to truly distinguish it from its rivals. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to match.

The stroller seat can be used from birth up to 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.

When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also simple to fold, thanks to two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side which just click in and pop up.

Bugaboo Fox 5,

Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tried it out alongside my two kids - an infant and an eight-week old - across rocky pavements, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are huge in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - so they can cope with lots of different terrains. The wheels come with flaps that can be closed or opened to let more air in when required. It's a bit larger than most pushchairs, but it isn't heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are simple to wipe down. It's also much quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt safe using it on busy city streets. One of the advantages is that it incorporates accessory points. This means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a tray for snacks. You can also use the hood to block out rain and wind, but it's not particularly waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) that gives your child more legroom. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to transform it into the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

If you're looking forward to a morning jog in the crisp air or a nighttime stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a memorable one. This all-terrain jogging stroller has been designed to perform to keep you and your child active.

The handbrake with a performance disc lets you stop quickly, even when jogging on the downhill slope.

The Ridge is at its best in every city scene including bustling market stalls for farmers to street musicians playing music. Its large basket is big enough to hold your market finds and all the essentials for your baby, while the roomy canopy provides sun and wind protection. The canopy on the front can be unzipped to reveal two mesh peekaboos that permit you to monitor your baby.

The Ridge's reversible seat lets you to decide if your child is facing you or the world that lies ahead and its easy foot brake system is easy for new parents. The reversible handlebar on the back is a fantastic feature that lets you adjust it to suit your height. The Ridge's fold, in contrast to many jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy's new pushchair is truly innovative and has a lot of features that are really sure to amaze parents. It has a Multi-Mode wheelbase and LED Visibility Hub light that is the first of its kind in the market. It features a built-in Ride-on Board that saves on future costs and allows tired toddlers to accompany their parents during outings.

The Core is available as an entire travel system or as a single seat. It works with the most popular car seats, including the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the largest seat unit of the iCandy line, meaning you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, it's luxuriously constructed and comes with premium knitted jersey fabric. The child's adjustable bumper bar and the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support folds away are also very comfortable for children.

It was impressive how easily it folded and collapsed even with the seat unit attached. It is easily tucked away in your boot or hallway which makes it perfect for travelling. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, such as an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and liner/footmuff.
