3 Wheel Double Buggy

Seats
The majority of triple buggies are initially single pushchairs, although some can convert to take the seat of a second person or carrycot with adapters (these are more commonly found in tandem buggies). Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a fantastic single buggy that is available from day one that can then easily adapt to take 2 (or 3!) in various configurations. Suspension
The suspension of a double 3 wheel buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children are able to push it. It is important to have a smooth ride, as babies can feel every bump on the road. This is particularly relevant if you drive on rough terrain, such as grass or roads that are not paved. Some models have locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Certain models come with air-filled tyres which are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they can be prone punctures. Make sure you have a spare set of tyres in your trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres, which are designed to withstand bumps and are less prone to punctures however, you might find them a little stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back if you decide to run.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy can be folded neatly for storage. You can find options that fold flat and then stand up (as if they were in a pushchair) as well as those that pop up to reveal a more umbrella-style fold with an electric brake. The more wheels the buggy is equipped with, in general, the easier it is to maneuver through rough terrain. This is particularly true if your wheels are larger than typical size. You will have more stability and it is less likely that you will have to tip over or flip your child.
